Depending on where in NY you are, you could also go with us. We're a bit more expensive than GAP, but we also sponsor Audizine and have someone who answers the phone when you call. We're still building our online database of stuff, so if you need something that's not on the website, drop me a PM/email and I can get you a quote.

my dealer ordered the 2008 s4 DTM/exterior spoiler package front carbon fiber lip and rear carbon fiber spoiler they owe me and can't provide me with an ETA. I wanted to check with some other audi oem parts vendors to see how long it really takes.
Matt, would you be able to give me an idea? if they give me the run around i will ask for the funds and order elsewhere.
thanks

Try cheapercarparts.co.uk. I picked up some audi parts there since I am local to them. Prices can't be beat for online...

For that purpose, ECS has "real-time" estimates on how long parts will take to arrive on their website. My be able to give you an idea.

Dealers order through the North American parts distribution network, and if the part is on back order, then it's got to come from Europe. However the ordering system is very good at estimating arrival times for backorders. it sounds like your dealer is not giving you the proper information.
An independent dealer (ecstuning, oemplus, ME (advancedautomotion.com), etc) will either order the parts from Europe directly or source through a dealer so it really depends on where the part is coming from.

If you want something off G.A.P but need to talk to somebody first, call Miramar Audi in CA. They are the ones who run GAP, and do a quite fine job IMO. I have a lot of respect for places that will usually always be the lowest priced because they know that by having lower prices, they'll end up making more due to the higher volume of business they receive.
Although if you want/need something quick, location, location, LOCATION. If something is shipping from the East Coast I can normally get it within 1-3 days. If it's coming from CA, than I can expect about a week. And I'm sure they opposite goes for West Coast buyers

I ordered a couple things from GAP early last week and never received a tracking number. I called Miramar today and the parts guy told me they dont run GAP and couldn't assist me with my order. I've emailed GAP about 3 times but I get no reply. I can wait if they're backordered or something just let me know about it. are they on here?

http://www.directaudiparts.com/
http://www.audiwholesaleparts.com/pa...?siteid=215295+1 for GAP tho, its now been added to my Parts/Mods bookmark.

I love GAP because it is relatively easy to find parts on their with the parts diagrams.

I know the thread title states "online" but If you have a corporation and a sales tax ID # you can fax it to your local dealer's parts dept. and get the same prices as GAP.

We have the entire North American Parts Catalog LIVE & Search able on our site if you ever need to obtain OEM parts pricing!
We also have the ability to source all available European OEM parts as well!
At the top right hand corner there's a search box where you can type in part numbers or look up the part by name.
Check it out HERE!
Let me know if you have any questions.

I typically use genuineaudiparts.com... normally the cheapest source for OEM parts. I've also had good success with ECS Tuning, where you can in many cases either pick the OEM part or the normally cheaper aftermarket part. Good luck.
